We had an accepted offer in month four that fell through when the buyer's financing did not close. Sandcastle notified us promptly about the fall-through, which I appreciated. What I did not appreciate was the communication slowdown that followed — for the next three months, updates became inconsistent and I had to follow up more than twice to get information. We eventually sold in month eleven. Two stars because the outcome was real but the recovery from the deal falling through was handled poorly.

Ask upfront what the process looks like if a buyer falls through. Knowing the protocol in advance reduces anxiety if it happens.
