Write ReviewProfessional and Efficient — Great Florida Experience
Sandcastle sold our Hilton Grand Vacations Club interest in Orlando in six months at the price they quoted. The process was professional throughout — consistent communication, accurate documentation, and a buyer who matched the profile the consultant described at the start. We have already referred two neighbors to them. For Florida resort resales, this is a company that knows the market and delivers results.
Accurate pricing, consistent communication, and a clean closing at the quoted price.
Good Resale Experience, Minor Timeline Issues
We sold our Marriott Vacation Club interest through Sandcastle after eight months — about a month longer than their stated range. The process was good overall. Communication was consistent and the consultant was knowledgeable. The price came in at the lower-middle of the initial estimate range. I am giving four stars because the experience was solid and the outcome fair, with a minor timeline miss that was explained adequately.
Consistent communication and an adequately explained timeline extension.
Sold Our Orlando Resort Property in Under Five Months
We had tried selling our Disney Vacation Club interest through DVC Resale Market and several other listing sites with no success over a fourteen-month period. A friend who had sold a Marriott property through Sandcastle Resale Co recommended them. The consultant we worked with knew the DVC resale market specifically and had recently placed a comparable point allocation. He gave us a price, explained the DVC right-of-first-refusal process, and set a realistic timeline. The sale closed in four and a half months at exactly the price quoted.
DVC-specific market knowledge and expert handling of the right-of-first-refusal process that others had not mentioned.
Professional Service Throughout
I worked with this company for approximately 10 months to complete my timeshare deed-back. The initial consultation took about 3 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. Phase 1 involved document collection and contract analysis, which was thorough and professional. Phase 2 was the negotiation with the resort, where my case manager kept me informed throughout. The team communicated regularly via email and phone calls. The final phase involved signing release documents and waiting for resort confirmation. I received my official release letter 5 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $3600 (as quoted). I would recommend this company to others in similar situations.
The initial consultation was informative and the case manager assigned to me was excellent and very responsive.
Took Longer Than Quoted — Still Waiting at Month Ten
We are at the ten-month mark on a stated six-to-nine-month timeline. The sale has not yet closed though we have had an interested buyer for several weeks that has not fully committed. Communication is adequate — monthly updates come without us needing to initiate. But I am growing impatient with the pace. Updating to three stars from what might have been four, pending the resolution. The team seems competent but the market for our property type appears to be softer than they initially indicated.
Consistent monthly communication throughout.
Buyer Fell Through and Communication Slowed
We had an accepted offer in month four that fell through when the buyer's financing did not close. Sandcastle notified us promptly about the fall-through, which I appreciated. What I did not appreciate was the communication slowdown that followed — for the next three months, updates became inconsistent and I had to follow up more than twice to get information. We eventually sold in month eleven. Two stars because the outcome was real but the recovery from the deal falling through was handled poorly.
Prompt notification when the first deal fell through.
