Back to Northstar Transfer Partners

Communication Was Lacking Throughout

2/5Proof Attached

Experience

Our deed transfer to my daughter should have been a relatively straightforward process. Northstar's stated timeline was six to eight weeks. At week twelve, I had received two form emails and nothing else. When I called, the general office could never tell me exactly where our documentation stood without putting me on hold for ten or more minutes. The transfer was eventually completed at week fifteen. For a company that specializes in this service, the client experience was well below acceptable.

What Went Well

The transfer completed and documentation was correct.

What Went Wrong

Almost no proactive communication and a timeline that missed by seven weeks.

Advice for Others

Request a specific milestone schedule with estimated dates at the start of the process and follow up at each milestone.
