We were told eight to twelve weeks for a straightforward deed transfer to my son. Sixteen weeks later, it was done. The delays were only partially explained — something about a resort processing backlog that apparently lasted over a month without anyone informing us. We had to call multiple times in weeks ten through fourteen to get any status information. The transfer is legitimate, but for a company that charges what they charge for a simple deed transfer, the communication should be much better.

The transfer completed with correct documentation.

Processing backlog was never proactively communicated. Learned about delays by calling, not from them.
Advice for Others
Ask specifically what the resort's current deed processing time is before signing. It affects the timeline significantly.
