Write ReviewGot There But Communication Needed Work
The transfer completed. It took fourteen weeks instead of the eight-to-ten quoted, and communication between weeks six and twelve was sparse. When I called in, the team was helpful and responsive, but I should not have had to call. For a company that specializes in transfers, I expected the client experience to be smoother. The final documentation was correct and complete. Three stars because the outcome was right but the journey had too many silent stretches.
The transfer documentation was complete and correctly recorded when it did come through.
Clean Transfer With No Complications
We needed to transfer our timeshare deed to our adult daughter, who wanted to continue using the property. Harborview handled the entire process cleanly. They dealt directly with the resort's title department, prepared all the documentation, and coordinated the notarization. The transfer was confirmed in about six weeks. For a title transfer specifically, they are exactly what you need — organized, professional, and experienced with resort deed requirements across different states.
End-to-end management of the transfer documents and direct coordination with the resort title department.
Would Use Again Without Hesitation
We transferred our timeshare to my brother as a gift and used Harborview Transfer Co to handle the deed work. From first call to completed transfer took eight weeks. Every step was explained clearly, every document was prepared correctly the first time, and the final confirmation from the resort arrived faster than they projected. The fee was reasonable for what they handled. This is a company that does one thing and does it well.
Every document was correct on first submission — no rework, no delays from errors.
Took Too Long and Communication Dropped
We were told eight to twelve weeks for a straightforward deed transfer to my son. Sixteen weeks later, it was done. The delays were only partially explained — something about a resort processing backlog that apparently lasted over a month without anyone informing us. We had to call multiple times in weeks ten through fourteen to get any status information. The transfer is legitimate, but for a company that charges what they charge for a simple deed transfer, the communication should be much better.
The transfer completed with correct documentation.
Poor Communication Throughout
I worked with this company for approximately 18 months to complete my timeshare transfer. The initial consultation took about 3 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. Communication dropped significantly after the first month. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, I often went 4 weeks without hearing anything. The process took 18 months instead of the 4 months they initially quoted. I'm still waiting for resolution after 18 months and have filed complaints with the BBB. Total cost: $2000 (higher than the initial quote of $2300). I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
Very little went well in this process. The initial sales pitch was convincing but the follow-through was severely lacking.
Honest Timeline, Good Outcome
The transfer took eleven weeks, slightly longer than their eight-to-ten estimate, but the team was communicative throughout and the delay was explained clearly — the resort's title department had a processing backlog. Harborview followed up on our behalf several times to move things along. The final transfer confirmation was complete and everything was properly recorded. Four stars because of the minor timeline overage, but the professionalism was good and I would use them again.
Proactive follow-up with the resort title department to address a processing delay.
