What Went Wrong
The only minor issue was some confusion about whether I needed to pay my last maintenance fee during the process. They eventually clarified that I should keep paying until the release was finalized.
Advice for Others
Ask about your specific resort's programs before signing. Some resorts have easier exit paths than others. This company knew Orange Lake well and it showed.
