My husband and I had tried to handle this ourselves for over a year with no success. Within 4 months of signing with this company, our property was sold and the transfer was complete. The final amount was $42,400. The whole experience was far less stressful than we anticipated.

What went well

Professional handling and outcome matched what was promised.

Good Result, Slow Process

The process took 9 months — a bit longer than the estimate — and communication was inconsistent in the middle stretch. But the outcome was solid: our property sold for $21,100 and the transfer was clean. Three stars because the journey was bumpier than it needed to be, but they delivered.

What went well

The outcome was as promised and the legal transfer completed cleanly.

We worked with this company for about 4 months and came away satisfied with both the process and the outcome. From our first call, the team was professional and knowledgeable. They explained every step clearly and we never felt left in the dark. The final result was exactly what they had outlined at the beginning. Cost came in at $38,700 as quoted. We would use them again.

What went well

Professional handling and outcome matched what was promised.

Some Positives, But Not What I Expected

My experience with Resort Resale Network was somewhere in the middle — not a disaster, but not the professional and streamlined process I was hoping for based on how they presented themselves. I had a Hilton Grand Vacations Club points package I had been trying to move for about eight months before I contacted them. The rep I spoke to was personable and had solid knowledge of the Hilton resale market specifically. That was a good sign. The marketing fee was $1,500, which I paid upfront. They listed my property and within about six weeks I was told there was buyer interest. That part moved faster than I expected. Where things slowed down was in the negotiation and closing phase. The buyer had conditions I did not fully understand, and my contact at the company was not great at explaining them. I ended up calling the title company directly to get clarity on what was happening, which felt like something my representative should have been handling. The sale closed at $16,200 after about five months total. Not the highest end of what they quoted, but within range. The transfer was clean. Three stars feels right. They did the job. I just felt like I was doing more of the tracking and follow-up than I should have been.

What went well

Initial buyer interest came faster than expected. The title transfer was clean and professionally handled.

Hidden Costs Made This More Expensive Than Advertised

2/5
ContractInvoiceEmailsCall Logs
Resale

I am writing this review because I think transparency matters, and I did not get much of it from Resort Resale Network. The initial pitch focused on their marketing network and their ability to reach buyers who others cannot. That part may be true — they did find a buyer. But the costs were presented to me in a way that obscured the total I would actually pay. The upfront marketing fee was $1,600. Fine. What was not explained clearly was that there would be additional closing coordination fees, a transfer facilitation charge, and what they called an "escrow processing supplement" — three separate charges I only learned about when the closing documents arrived. Together those added another $900 to my costs. When I raised this with my case manager, she told me it was "standard industry practice" and pointed to a paragraph buried deep in the service agreement. She was not unkind about it, but she was not apologetic either. The sale itself — my WorldMark by Wyndham membership — closed in about four and a half months. The buyer was real and the transfer went through without issues. I received $14,100 net after all fees. But the feeling of being surprised by costs at closing was not a good one. If they had been upfront about the total cost structure at the beginning, I would have had a more informed decision to make.

What went well

The actual sale timeline was reasonable and the title transfer completed without problems.

Nightmare Experience - Still Fighting

This has been the worst consumer experience of my life. I signed up in March 2023 to exit my Wyndham timeshare. Here's the timeline of what happened: March 2023: Paid $4,500 upfront fee after a high-pressure sales call. Was promised exit within 6-12 months. April-June 2023: Received initial paperwork to sign. Was told the process was "underway." July-September 2023: Complete radio silence. Emails went unanswered. Phone calls went to voicemail. When I finally reached someone, they said my case manager had left the company and my case was being "reassigned." October 2023: New case manager contacted me but seemed unfamiliar with my file. Had to re-explain everything and resend documents. November 2023-January 2024: Was told they were "negotiating with Wyndham" but couldn't provide any specifics or documentation of these negotiations. February 2024: Discovered that no formal exit process had actually been initiated with Wyndham. The company had apparently been doing nothing for 11 months. March 2024: Filed complaint with Florida Attorney General and disputed the charge with my credit card company. Still ongoing.

What went well

Honestly, nothing went well. The only silver lining is that my credit card company has tentatively agreed to a chargeback while they investigate, and I've connected with other victims through a consumer complaint forum.

Terrible Customer Service

1/5

I worked with this company for approximately 4 months to complete my timeshare resale. The initial consultation took about 2 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 3-phase process in detail. Communication dropped significantly after the first month. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, I often went 2 weeks without hearing anything. The process took 4 months instead of the 5 months they initially quoted. I'm still waiting for resolution after 4 months and have filed complaints with the BBB. Total cost: $3900 (higher than the initial quote of $2400). I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

What went well

Very little went well in this process. The initial sales pitch was convincing but the follow-through was severely lacking.

Paid the Fee — Waited Almost a Year

2/5
ContractCall LogsScreenshots

I want to be fair in this review because the sale did eventually happen. But I also want to be honest: ten months is a long time to wait, and for most of that period I had very little idea what was actually happening with my listing. I own — owned — a two-bedroom annual unit at a Marriott property in Orlando. The maintenance fees had climbed to $3,200 per year and my family simply stopped using the property after my kids graduated college. I contacted Resort Resale Network after reading a few online articles about the resale market. Their sales rep was confident and gave me a timeline of four to six months. The first three months were uneventful. I received a listing confirmation and a few form emails about market conditions. Around month four I started following up more aggressively because I had heard nothing substantive. The responses I got were vague — "we are actively marketing your property" and "buyer interest in this market has been slower than usual." Months five through eight were genuinely frustrating. I asked twice to speak with a supervisor and was told someone would call me. No one did. I started keeping a written log of every contact attempt. At one point I went six weeks without any response to two separate emails. In month nine, I was informed there was a buyer. The negotiation phase took another five weeks. The final sale price was $18,900. It was within the range they had originally quoted but on the lower end. Would I use them again? No. Did they deliver? Technically yes. That is the most honest assessment I can offer.

What went well

They did find a buyer and the legal transfer was handled without issues.

Took Much Longer Than Promised — Eventually Got It Done

3/5
InvoiceCall Logs
Resale

My husband and I came to Resort Resale Network after spending almost two years trying to list our Wyndham property on our own. We had no takers and frankly had no idea how to reach serious buyers. A neighbor recommended them, and we figured we had nothing to lose. The initial consultation was fine. They were knowledgeable about the resale market and gave us what felt like a realistic sense of what our points package was worth. We signed an agreement and paid an upfront marketing fee — $1,800 — which they assured us was standard. Looking back, I wish I had shopped around more before agreeing to that fee. The first two months were quiet. Too quiet. We would send emails and get responses three or four days later. When we called the main office, we were often routed to voicemail. Our original case manager left the company around month three and nobody told us — we only found out because we got a generic email introducing someone new. That transition was bumpy. The new person had clearly not reviewed our file, and we had to explain everything from scratch. Months four through six improved somewhat. They did get our listing in front of buyers — we had two serious inquiries — but both fell through for reasons that were never fully explained to us. The company's communication during those negotiations was sparse. We had to ask repeatedly for updates. In month seven, a buyer was found and the sale moved forward. The closing process was handled adequately, if slowly. We received our payout about eleven weeks after accepting the offer. The final amount was $22,400, which was in the range they had originally quoted, so I will give them credit for that. Overall this was not a smooth experience. It worked, but the process felt disorganized and the communication was frustrating throughout. If the outcome had not been what they promised, I would have rated them much lower.

What went well

The sale price came in close to their initial estimate, and the closing paperwork was handled without errors.
