Write ReviewExceptional Mountain Resale Expertise
Our Vail timeshare had been on various resale sites for almost two years with no serious inquiries. We called Mesa Verde Resales and the difference was immediate. The consultant understood premium Colorado ski properties at a level that generic resale platforms simply cannot match. He identified the right buyer profile within the first consultation and had active buyer relationships in that segment. The sale closed in five months at a price significantly above what other companies had suggested was realistic. Exceptional expertise and a result that exceeded our expectations.
Premium Colorado resort market expertise that directly resulted in a higher-than-expected sale price.
Sold Our Breckenridge Week in Four Months
We had owned a ski week at Breckenridge for fourteen years and had not used it in three. The maintenance fees were increasing every year and we had no plans to ski again. Mesa Verde Resales knew the Colorado ski resort market specifically and our consultant had recently sold several comparable Breckenridge weeks. He gave us a realistic price, explained who the likely buyer was, and set an accurate timeline. The sale closed in exactly four months at the price he projected. Professional, accurate, and straightforward.
Deep knowledge of the Colorado ski resort resale market and an accurate price projection.
Good But Could Communicate More
The sale completed successfully and Mesa Verde clearly knows the mountain resort market. My issue is that communication during months three and four was sparse and required me to initiate contact. When I did reach my consultant, he was helpful and up to date. But for a company that handles premium properties, I expected the client experience to be more proactive. Three stars for the result and knowledge, minus two for inconsistent communication.
Genuine mountain resort market expertise and a clean sale outcome.
Better Than We Expected
We owned a Park City ski week and had heard the market for such properties was competitive. Mesa Verde handled our sale professionally, communicated well throughout, and delivered a result that was at the top end of the price range quoted at the start. Six months from initial consultation to closed sale. The team was responsive, the documentation was clean, and the buyer they found was exactly the profile our consultant described in the first call.
Sale price at the upper end of the initial range and consistent, professional communication throughout.
Avoid This Company
I worked with this company for approximately 18 months to complete my timeshare resale. The initial consultation took about 2 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. Communication dropped significantly after the first month. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, I often went 4 weeks without hearing anything. The process took 18 months instead of the 4 months they initially quoted. I'm still waiting for resolution after 18 months and have filed complaints with the BBB. Total cost: $3400 (higher than the initial quote of $2700). I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
Very little went well in this process. The initial sales pitch was convincing but the follow-through was severely lacking.
Good Process, Fair Result
We used Mesa Verde to sell our Snowmass week. The sale took seven months — slightly longer than the five to six they estimated — and the price came in at the lower end of the quoted range. Neither of those was a major issue, and the overall process was professional. Communication was consistent throughout and the consultant was knowledgeable and easy to reach. Four stars because of the minor timeline and price variance, but the experience was generally solid.
Professional and communicative throughout with genuine Colorado ski market knowledge.
