Write ReviewWasted Time and Money — One Star
I am filing this review at the eighteen-month mark. My exit has not been confirmed. My case manager has changed three times. The most recent case manager I spoke with was unfamiliar with my file. When I asked for a refund, I was told that refunds were not available under my contract terms. I am now working with a consumer attorney to evaluate my options. I paid $3,800 and have received eighteen months of excuses. I would strongly caution anyone from choosing Blue Ridge Exit Solutions.
Nothing that has materialized into a result.
Some Issues But Exit Resolved
Our exit took thirteen months. The stated range was eight to twelve. Two case managers left the company during our engagement, and each transition caused a multi-week gap in activity. The eventual exit is real and the documentation is correct. But experiencing two staff transitions on a single case — and having to re-explain our situation each time — was genuinely frustrating. Three stars because the outcome was right but the journey had too many disruptions.
Exit was confirmed with complete documentation despite two case manager transitions.
Stress-Free Exit Experience
I worked with this company for approximately 8 months to complete my timeshare exit. The initial consultation took about 1 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 2-phase process in detail. Phase 1 involved document collection and contract analysis, which was thorough and professional. Phase 2 was the negotiation with the resort, where my case manager kept me informed throughout. The team communicated regularly via email and phone calls. The final phase involved signing release documents and waiting for resort confirmation. I received my official release letter 2 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $3900 (as quoted). I would recommend this company to others in similar situations.
The initial consultation was informative and the case manager assigned to me was excellent and very responsive.
Would Not Use Again
Our exit took sixteen months and required three escalation emails to leadership before anything meaningful happened. The initial intake was professional and the salesperson was confident, which is what got us to sign. The follow-through was significantly worse than the sales process. The exit is real and I will not argue that. But the effort required to get there was disproportionate to the fee we paid. I would choose a different company if I had to do this again.
Exit was confirmed with legitimate release documentation.
Below Expectations in Almost Every Way
We chose Blue Ridge based on their stated focus on mid-Atlantic resort properties. The initial consultation was thorough and confident. From month two onward, the experience declined steadily. Communication slowed. Case manager was replaced without notification. Timeline estimates were missed twice without explanation. The exit was eventually confirmed at month fourteen. For a company marketing expertise in Appalachian and mid-Atlantic resorts specifically, the execution did not match the promise.
The exit was ultimately confirmed with complete documentation.
Exit Worked — Communication Could Have Been Better
Blue Ridge Exit Solutions completed our exit from a Shenandoah Valley resort contract in ten months. The stated timeline was seven to ten, so we came in at the upper end. The exit is legitimate and the documentation is complete. My reason for four stars rather than five is the communication during months five through nine — it was adequate only when I initiated contact. For the fee charged, I expected more proactive outreach. But the outcome was real and the team was knowledgeable.
Knowledgeable team and a complete, legitimate exit at the upper end of the stated range.
