Nightmare Experience - Still Fighting
Resort Resale NetworkThis has been the worst consumer experience of my life. I signed up in March 2023 to exit my Wyndham timeshare. Here's the timeline of what happened: March 2023: Paid $4,500 upfront fee after a high-pressure sales call. Was promised exit within 6-12 months. April-June 2023: Received initial paperwork to sign. Was told the process was "underway." July-September 2023: Complete radio silence. Emails went unanswered. Phone calls went to voicemail. When I finally reached someone, they said my case manager had left the company and my case was being "reassigned." October 2023: New case manager contacted me but seemed unfamiliar with my file. Had to re-explain everything and resend documents. November 2023-January 2024: Was told they were "negotiating with Wyndham" but couldn't provide any specifics or documentation of these negotiations. February 2024: Discovered that no formal exit process had actually been initiated with Wyndham. The company had apparently been doing nothing for 11 months. March 2024: Filed complaint with Florida Attorney General and disputed the charge with my credit card company. Still ongoing.
Failed to Deliver
Resort Resale NetworkI worked with this company for approximately 3 months to complete my timeshare deed-back. The initial consultation took about 1 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. Communication dropped significantly after the first month. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, I often went 3 weeks without hearing anything. The process took 3 months instead of the 6 months they initially quoted. I'm still waiting for resolution after 3 months and have filed complaints with the BBB. Total cost: $4600 (higher than the initial quote of $1700). I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
