Professional Team, Reasonable Timeline

My Marriott Vacation Club exit took 8 months total. The process involved: initial consultation and contract review (2 weeks), demand letter to resort (week 3), negotiation period with Marriott's surrender team (months 2-5), and final paperwork and transfer (months 6-8). The company handled all resort communications and kept me informed throughout.

What went well:

The legal team knew Marriott's processes well and had existing relationships that seemed to help move things along. All fees were clearly disclosed upfront. They provided a checklist of exactly what documents I needed to gather.

Very Disappointed with Service

I worked with this company for approximately 4 months to complete my timeshare deed-back. The initial consultation took about 2 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 2-phase process in detail. Communication dropped significantly after the first month. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, I often went 2 weeks without hearing anything. The process took 4 months instead of the 5 months they initially quoted. I'm still waiting for resolution after 4 months and have filed complaints with the BBB. Total cost: $3800 (higher than the initial quote of $2700). I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

What went well:

Very little went well in this process. The initial sales pitch was convincing but the follow-through was severely lacking.

I worked with this company for approximately 16 months to complete my timeshare transfer. The initial consultation took about 2 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. Phase 1 involved document collection and contract analysis, which was thorough and professional. Phase 2 was the negotiation with the resort, where my case manager kept me informed throughout. The team communicated regularly via email and phone calls. The final phase involved signing release documents and waiting for resort confirmation. I received my official release letter 4 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $1800 (as quoted). I would recommend this company to others in similar situations.

What went well:

Document collection was efficient and they had a secure portal for uploading files.
