Write ReviewTimeline Was Off and Communication Dropped
We were quoted four to six months. It took ten. The delays were never clearly explained and when I called for updates during months five through eight, I often got vague responses about the market being slow. We did eventually sell, but the experience left us feeling like we were not a priority. Two stars because the sale completed but the process was far below what was promised.
The sale did complete and the transfer was legitimate.
They Delivered on Their Promises
I worked with this company for approximately 18 months to complete my timeshare resale. The initial consultation took about 2 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. Phase 1 involved document collection and contract analysis, which was thorough and professional. Phase 2 was the listing and marketing, where my case manager kept me informed throughout. The team communicated regularly via email and phone calls. The final phase involved signing release documents and waiting for resort confirmation. I received my official release letter 4 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $1500 (as quoted). I would recommend this company to others in similar situations.
The flat fee structure meant I knew exactly what I was paying from the start.
Professional and Responsive Throughout
I had heard that timeshare resale companies were generally unreliable. My experience with Redwood Resale Partners changed that impression entirely. From the first call, the consultant was organized, honest about pricing, and clear about what the process would involve. He followed up at regular intervals without being prompted. The sale took six months — within the range he quoted — and the closing was handled cleanly. I was kept informed at every stage. If you own a Pacific Northwest resort property and want to sell, call them before doing anything else.
Consistent proactive communication and an accurate initial price assessment that led to a quick buyer match.
Took a Bit Longer Than Expected But We Got There
The process with Redwood Resale took eight months instead of the five-to-seven they initially quoted, which was frustrating at the midpoint. That said, they were transparent about the delay — the buyer pool for our specific unit type was smaller than anticipated — and they did eventually find the right buyer. The sale closed at a fair price and the transfer was clean. The team was responsive when we called. Four stars because the timeline miss was real but the outcome and professionalism were solid.
Honest communication about the delay and a clean, professional closing when the right buyer was found.
Sold Our Sunriver Property in Under Five Months
We had owned a deeded week at Sunriver Resort in Oregon for eleven years and had stopped using it regularly. After two failed attempts at selling independently, we called Redwood Resale Partners. Our consultant knew the Pacific Northwest resort market specifically and explained who typically buys Sunriver weeks and why. He quoted a realistic price and a four-to-six-month timeline. The property sold in just under five months at exactly the price he projected. The transfer paperwork was handled by their team with no complications. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone trying to sell a Northwest resort property.
Deep knowledge of the Pacific Northwest resort market and a realistic price that brought a qualified buyer quickly.
Decent Company With Communication Gaps
The outcome was fine — our timeshare sold after seven months and the price was acceptable. But getting updates during months three through six required us to initiate contact almost every time. The consultant was knowledgeable and responsive when we reached him, but we should not have had to chase him for status. Three stars because the result was real and the knowledge was there, but the experience in between needed more proactive outreach.
The consultant had genuine knowledge of the resort resale market and the sale outcome was fair.
