Write ReviewPaid Upfront and Heard Nothing for Four Months
I paid the full fee at signing based on their promise of an eight-to-twelve-month process. After an initial intake call, I did not hear anything for four months. When I finally reached someone, they told me my case was "in the queue." I asked what that meant — they could not explain. I eventually received my exit confirmation sixteen months after signing and six months after I had started following up in earnest. The exit is real, but the communication was so absent for so long that I would never recommend this company to anyone.
The exit was ultimately confirmed with legitimate documentation.
Average Experience — Got the Job Done Eventually
They completed our exit. It took eleven months instead of the seven to nine they quoted, and communication in the back half was inconsistent. We had to follow up more than we wanted. But the exit was legitimate, the documentation was in order, and nobody disappeared with our money. Three stars — they are not great, but they are not a scam either. If you choose them, stay on top of them.
The exit was real and the final documentation was complete and legitimate.
Communication Was Terrible Start to Finish
The exit did eventually happen — I will give them that. But the communication was so poor that I genuinely did not know if the process was still active for months at a time. Three separate times I called and spoke to someone who seemed unfamiliar with my case and had to put me on hold to look it up. The exit was confirmed fourteen months after signing. Their stated range was eight to twelve. I am giving two stars rather than one because the result was real. But the experience of getting there was genuinely poor.
The exit completed and the release documentation was legitimate.
Still Waiting After Many Months
I worked with this company for approximately 2 months to complete my timeshare transfer. The initial consultation took about 1 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. Communication dropped significantly after the first month. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, I often went 2 weeks without hearing anything. The process took 2 months instead of the 5 months they initially quoted. I'm still waiting for resolution after 2 months and have filed complaints with the BBB. Total cost: $3500 (higher than the initial quote of $1300). I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
Very little went well in this process. The initial sales pitch was convincing but the follow-through was severely lacking.
Free From Our Wyndham Contract After Eight Months
My wife and I had owned a Wyndham timeshare for nine years. The maintenance fees had nearly doubled since our purchase and we were using the property less than once a year. After researching exit companies, we chose Keystone Exit Group based on a recommendation from a neighbor who had used them the previous year. Our consultant was thorough, honest about the timeline, and checked in at regular intervals without us having to follow up. Eight months after signing, we received our official release letter from Wyndham. The entire process matched what was described at the outset. We would recommend them to anyone in a similar situation.
Accurate timeline estimate, consistent communication, and a legitimate release document at the end.
Solid Exit Company — Nine Months, Clean Release
Nine months was at the longer end of their stated range, but Keystone got us out of our Club Wyndham contract cleanly. The process was professional. We received monthly status emails and could always reach someone within twenty-four hours when we called. The release documentation was thorough and legitimate. I would have given five stars if the communication had been slightly more proactive during the middle months, but the outcome was exactly what was promised.
Reachable team, legitimate exit documentation, and a process that unfolded as described.
