Write ReviewSlow Response Times Throughout
We used Bayview for a deed transfer and every step took longer than expected because of slow response times on their end. Documents that should have been submitted within a week sat for ten days. When I called about the delay, I was told the team was busy. The transfer eventually completed at fourteen weeks — almost double their stated range. For a transfer company, speed and accuracy are the only two things that matter. They were slow on both.
The transfer did complete and the documentation was accurate.
Professional Service — Good Experience
Bayview handled our deed transfer to my adult daughter competently and professionally. The process took nine weeks — within their stated range — and communication was generally consistent. I gave four rather than five stars because there was one week in the middle where I could not reach my assigned contact and had to call the general office instead. It was a minor inconvenience but noticeable in what should be a managed process. The final documentation was correct and complete.
Professional handling and correct documentation throughout.
Fees Were Higher Than Initially Quoted
The transfer completed in ten weeks, which was within their stated range. My issue is with the fee structure. I was quoted a flat fee of $850 at the start. By the end, the invoice was $1,190 — an increase of forty percent. Each additional charge was individually justifiable when explained, but I was not informed of these possibilities in advance. For a straightforward deed transfer with no complications, the final fee should have matched the quote more closely.
Transfer completed within the stated timeline and documentation was correct.
Average Service — Got the Job Done
Our deed transfer took twelve weeks instead of eight. Communication required us to initiate contact more than I would have liked. The documentation was correct when it finally arrived and the transfer is properly recorded. Three stars because the outcome was right but the experience was below average for a fee-based professional service. For a straightforward transfer, there are likely other options worth exploring.
Transfer was documented correctly and properly recorded.
Decent Service But Slow
I worked with this company for approximately 14 months to complete my timeshare resale. The initial consultation took about 3 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. The document phase went smoothly but communication became inconsistent during months 4-6. I had to follow up several times to get status updates. However, they did eventually complete the work and achieved the resale as promised. The final phase involved signing release documents and waiting for resort confirmation. I received my official release letter 3 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $3800 (as quoted). Mixed feelings overall, but they did get the job done.
They were knowledgeable about my specific resort's processes and programs.
Transfer Completed Smoothly
We needed to transfer our Marriott Vacation Club interest to my sister, who had been renting our points for years and wanted formal ownership. Bayview Transfer Services handled the entire process professionally — deed preparation, resort coordination, notarization, and final confirmation. The transfer was completed in seven weeks at the lower end of their stated range. Every document was submitted correctly on the first attempt. The team was responsive throughout and easy to reach when we had questions.
Complete accuracy on first documentation submission and a transfer completed at the lower end of the stated timeframe.
